Can it be left on overnight or in the paddock?
The tail wrap is best used for travel and supervised stabling only. We don’t recommend leaving it on unattended in the field. Always check and adjust the wrap regularly. The tail bag may be left on overnight in a safe yard or stable.
How does it stay on without sliding off?
The three Velcro straps create an even, snug hold from top to bottom, preventing the wrap from bunching or slipping — even during travel.
What size horses does it fit?
The Tail Wrap is best suited for horses over 15hh or chunky ponies (14–14.2hh) with thick tails. The adjustable Velcro straps allow for a secure, custom fit.
How do I put it on correctly?
Start at the top of the tail bone, wrap downward with gentle tension, and fasten each Velcro section. Snug but comfortable is perfect — never too tight.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Avoid heat dryers to keep the fleece soft and the Velcro strong.
